Hi. My name is Jim Smith. Dave introduced his sight to me via the Allante Club. I have a 93 Allante, 90 Buick Reatta and a 97 Dodge 3500 Ramvan. I've recently and poorly retired, so I'm always looking for answers to things I can do myself. Forums' are a godsend to me for gaining knowledge and meeting interesting people. A close friend is gearing up a business of reproducing metal replacement panels, in fact about any part of the vehicle. He's also going to be reproducing 1936 ford bodies and parts. I mention this because I will probably become active in this business.  So... I'm looking for lively discussions on the Allantes' and the 36 era Fords'

Jim,

Welcome aboard! Glad to have you here!  As you can see, like you and your prosepective business endeavor, we are just setting up shop.  Hopefully, we shall be all settled in soon.

As for Allante discussions, have you ever bled the brake system?  That is on my "to do" list.  I flushed the cooling system this summer, but never got to the brakes.

Someone who owns both an Allante and a Reatta!  Want to compare the two for us who are not so privileged.  I know my Allante, "Auntie Pearl," is definitely a high maintenance woman.  Is the Reatta similar in that regard?  I also feel that all the electronics on the Allante are a bit daunting, to us former back yard mechanics.

Interested in your views.  If you care to post them, it would be nice if you did so, via a separate message in the Allante section.  Thanks.

Again, welcome!

And, of course, it's a huge plus for such dummies like I am your cars overview and a huge amount of professional advice. I can help you with skin issues, cos I'm a professional dermatologist and running a website http://skintagsremoving.com/ But I always wanted to be a racer , hope it's not too late.
