I'm having a problem with the forum but I haven't figured out the problem yet.  I can see attachements, I can see and post on the forum but for some reason I can't see any of the icons next to the subjects or the emoticons.  I've restarted the computer several times, even deleted and reinstalled the forum as a favorite.

None of the other forums acts this way that I'm on.  All I get is the red X where they should be.

When you say icons, are you referring to the MAIN page,  like this Athena_new.gifor where?
The only place I see emoticons is next to the message entry (reply) screen.  Is that where you mean?  Is this a recent problem, or has this been the situation for you from day one?

I ask, as no one else has reported any problem(s).

This started last week. I'm talking about the icons next to each subject. I've been resorting to looking at the post dates on the right side because I can't tell if one of the forum subjects has a new post or not.

It's most likely something in my system (I'm at work) as it's behind a firewall so apparently something has changed.

What I see in your post is the red "X" and "Athena_new.gif".  I just don't see the .gif.

Ok, at least I know we are talking about the same thing. I guess I have to agree, it is on your end. I say that as the .gif for new posts is displayed for me when I log on under either of my accounts for the board.

I think you are correct. When I check the icon properties it's correctly identified as a .gif and it has this "http://www.sparkimg.com/emoticons/subheading.gif"a but for Type is says not available and created date and modified date says not available.

Hummm

As we say in our software....It's OK there's a workaround.  Ha Ha.  Funny though I can see all the other graphics and avatars.

Now I'm thinking it's the source. It's the same for the activeboard site too. I also read their forums and some are having the issue but active board has not addressed it.

Steve,

If the problem is with Activeboard, why doesn't anyone else see it, I wonder?  I sure don't.

I would not hesitate to report the problem.  I know that much to my surprise, I did report a problem with the calendar:  It would not display entries for 30 Nov and they replied to my query and actually corrected it!
