The December issue of CCC has been published, and is available now online. It discusses what every car collector wants/needs: SPACE, a neat vehicle history research site (for 1980 or newer GM rides) and automobilia.
You will also find the CCC Annual Index online. It lists every article and photo published on the pages of CCC in 2010.
Enjoy!

Here is an email rec'd from David L. on the Dec. issue:
I really enjoyed reading your CCC about "space and organization." Those of us who live in condo apartments with a single indoor parking space and restrictive rules about car maintenance on condo property envy your amount of car barn room. If I want to do any car tinkering I have to use a city parking lot directly next door to us. As you can appreciate personal maintenance on the car is limited to about 6 months of the year due to weather. Maintenance is further limited by the lack of necessary amenities sich as a lift. There's only so much that can be done on a level outdoor public parking lot.
My storage space is also limited to a 5' x 9' closet in the basement, which must house other stored items besides car materials. That was one reason I built hidden storage compartments in the trunk of the Starfire. Practically all routine maintenance is done at commercial garages through necessity. How I long for a garage such as yours. When it comes to car maintenance condo living is not all it's cracked up to be.
I also enjoyed reading the rest of your article on "Automobilia," tracing the VIN number of post 1980 GM cars and the brief history of orphan cars.
Good article.
Here's a video about designer Harley Earl that you might enjoy. Love that '51 Buick LeSabre concept and late '40s to early '60s fin styling on the Cadillacs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ7_ec7OfNU
