We really did not own the car too long. It did have nice lines, but the engine was a joke. By then, GM was mixing brand parts without even thinking twice about it. This car came with the Olds 307 c.i. V-8. 307 cubes developed all of about 165 H.P.!
We first saw the car for sale at a local car show, took it for a test drive, and then did the deal. We did actually take it on one vacation trip to the east coast. While the "top down" driving was nice it performed only ok?
When we returned from the trip, it would not pass the state mandated emissions testing. It cost a few hundred bucks to get that resolved.
Fortunately, we were able to sell it with a decent profit. The purchaser is a federal judge in IL.
