We finally put The Gray Lady in a car show, the last weekend of July. It was her first. She received a lot of lookers and favorable comments. It was interesting to see the public reaction to this ride.
It was also of interest to see how the car performed on the open road, as the show site was a 50 mile drive, one-way. She performed flawlessly, and more than held her own on the open road (inter-state highway).
I can state without hesitation that she took up every inch of her lane of travel and held her own in relation to all the other cars on the road!
You know, I do not even think I took my camera with me to the show? I do know I took no pics.
Hey, "You have seen one '55 Caddy, you have seen them all," right? Not quite! I am certain I can count on 1 hand the number of '55 Cads I have ever seen at a show.
