VPS recommendation for Brazil traffic
Permalink

Hi! I'm building a community site for gamers across South America, and lately, most of our traffic is coming from Brazil. We're experiencing noticeable lag during peak hours, especially when hosting events or tournaments. I'm looking for a VPS solution that can handle high concurrency and has low latency for Brazilian users. Would switching to a Brazil-based server actually make a difference in user experience?

Absolutely. I run a competitive online gaming community myself, and we had very similar issues. Our servers were originally hosted in Miami, which was okay, but during gaming tournaments, we saw a lot of complaints from our Brazilian users about delays, dropped sessions, and lag. We switched our backend to a VPS in Brazil through https://exservers.net/vps-brazil and it immediately solved 80% of our performance issues. Ping times dropped by 30–50ms on average, and the user complaints essentially vanished. Their servers handled concurrent traffic well — we had over 2,000 players active during our last event, and everything stayed stable. I also appreciated how easy it was to scale RAM and CPU right from the dashboard. If you’re running any kind of live or latency-sensitive platform in Brazil, hosting locally is not optional — it’s essential. I wish I’d done it sooner.
